About A2Z Diesel Services

Located at 12801 Sparks Dr, El Paso, TX 79928, A2Z Diesel Services operates as a diesel repair shop serving El Paso in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as auto repair shop, engine rebuilding service, mechanic, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5:30 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (915) 852-2155. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

El Paso is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and El Paso follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

These guys are rip offs, overcharged me for some work never done, my truckbwent in running then all 6 injectors "went bad" all 6, he kept my truck because of storage when he never got it running, total rip off do not go. These guys ate stereo installers not diesel mechanics.

My driver broke down in El Paso on the highway. The few mechanics we called estimated that it would take half a day to repair and the estimates all exceeded $3K. When I contacted A2Z, the mechanics immediately video called the driver to confirm how bad the damage was. Without delay, they informed the best method was to be towed so we didn't have to pay extra for a call out only to be told it wouldn't be possible on the roadside. Then the mechanics at the shop immediately started working to get the parts for repairs while the truck was being towed. A job that other mechanics said would take 12-15H only took these guys 3-4H at the most. They also explained everything, what went wrong, why and how to avoid it as well as what they were repairing, how it effected the unit. My driver received some insite on the damages and how to handle it better or even avoid it all together with thier knowledge. Very knowledge, friendly, reasonable priced and honest. I seen a few bad reviews, but we personally had a great experience. Would recommend them.

Expedited, professional, quality work, great service at reasonable price. Rick and his crew were amazing. We are from Virginia and one of our units broke down in El Paso, TX. They picked up the unit, which had a loaded trailer attached and they helped us deliver the trailer to the destination. They got to working on the unit right away. They kept us informed through the whole process and truck was back up and on the road in 3 days, which given the amount of repairs it incurred, it was really fast. We are really pleased with the service provided. Will recommend to anyone who wishes quick, efficient repairs to get back on the road quickly and efficiently.

Installed radiator 10/18/2020 Radiator failed 2/25/2021 Took it to another shop, shop says cross braces installed improperly. Contacted the business they assumed no responsibility and claimed warranty is out. Normally radiator does not fail in less then 3 month. Compare cross marks with another unit you can clearly see how cross bars were improperly installed. Issue has nothing to do with anything else. Shop takes only EFS/COM checks so the carriers will not dispute anything with credit cards companies - BEWARE OF the shop ethics. Shop has admitted in the past carriers disputing CC charges with the credit companies.

I've had them work on my truck many times. The whole staff there is really great. I couldn't tell you all the work they have done on my truck, too long a list. But I continue to go back because they do good, reliable work. And also I have been very happy with my Hanksugi tires.
